Aims of the Rumble III voyage
The aims of this trip are to determine the influence that Rumble III seamount has on the water column.
To do this we will look at the water circulation around Rumble III as well as environmental conditions - on and off the seamount - as well as the distribution and abundance of plankton.
Additionally, if time permits, we hope to examine trophic linkages between plankton, benthic invertebrates and demersel fish on the seamount. That is – what eats what?
