Repair and maintenance of all machinery on board

Meeting interesting scientific staff

Whats the least enjoyable aspect of your work?

Getting up to alarms in the night – especially having to fix blocked toilets!

Do you get seasick? Any tips for not getting ill?

No, but would advise plenty of fresh air

What is your favourite memory from working on the ship?

Seeing icebergs in Antarctica

What do you do when not working?

On the ship I read, when I am ashore I am a volunteer firefighter and help my friend Yvonne on her 600 acre ranch!
