Aims of the Graveyard voyage

The aim of the trip is to re-visit some seamounts that have previously been sampled in order to monitor changes in the fauna (animals) over time. In addition, this the trip will provide the opportunity to trial acoustic habitat mapping techniques on several seamounts with a range of bottom types and fauna. And finally, if time permits, we will visit some previously unsampled seamounts on the Chatham Rise.
