How long have you worked on the Tangaroa?
I have worked on the Tangaroa for five years, four as casual and just over a year as permenant.
What is your job?
Able bodied seaman (Deck Crew).
What does a typical day involve?
I don’t have a typical day – every day is different. Anything from painting to deploying a camera over the side of the ship.

Everything

Saying goodbye to my family

What is your favourite memory from working on the ship?
My best memory would be seeing my first iceberg.
What do you do when off shift, and in your spare time at home?
When off shift theres always washing and cleaning to do (Mum’s not here!) and then a DVD and sleep. When at home I do a lot of walking to keep fit.
